Psalm 1
1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers,
2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.
3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers.

4 Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away.

It’s hard to look at the world today and not see evil all around us, to see the destruction that has come from all of the wicked ways of the world. As Christians, we have to remember that the Lord watches over us and that all of this evil was predicted in the Bible. No, it doesn’t make it easier to see happen or deal with however we do know that if the glorious promises of God are to come to fusion, we must first live out what the Bible has said would happen, which includes the destruction of this world.
Today I encourage you to pray for the world around us.
