Good evening,
Since I missed getting this done during the day, I thought I
would share some verses about nighttime. I think it is common (and good) for
Christians to spend a chunk of time with God in the morning – at the start of
the day. But how do we end it? Are we putting that other bookend on each day?
(*All verses from the NASB)
Psalm 1:1-2 “How blessed is the man who does not walk
in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the [a]path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of
scoffers! But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His
law he meditates day and night.”
Psalm 16:7-8” I will bless the Lord who has counseled
me; indeed, my mind instructs me in the night. I have set the Lord continually
before me; because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.”
Psalm 63:6-7 “When I remember You on my bed, I meditate
on You in the night watches, for You have been my help, and in the shadow
of Your wings I sing for joy.”
Psalm 92:1-2 “It is good to give thanks to the Lord
and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; to declare Your
lovingkindness in the morning and Your faithfulness by night,”
Have a blessed night,
